Pharmaceutical Plant
This client is a leading global pharmaceutical company holding more than 20% of the market share of pharmaceutical products in India.
Problem
On the production floor, the plant's saline compression area required precise, maintained conditions of 24 ⁰C (75.2 ⁰F) & 50% relative humidity. The company needed a cost-effective solution for air treatment, as it was experiencing high costs with the existing conventional heating & cooling system. It also requested a replacement solution that only required minimum modifications to the existing system.
Solution
Advantix Systems presented the plant with a solution consisting of a DT unit to supply treated air to the Compression Room and adjacent spaces after mixing it with the bypass air stream. The DT unit was installed in the return air system section, thus ensuring the minimum modification to the existing system.
Additional spaces also benefited from the dehumidified air as a byproduct of the effective system design. As a result, the overall operating cost was significantly lowered compared to conventional chilling & reheating systems.
